These garments are produced through a multi-stage, light-reactive dye process developed in-studio.

Each piece undergoes sequential exposure and fixation phases, allowing tones to interact rather than overwrite one another, resulting in the most art-like prints, with history burned into the fibers.

This isn’t layered color, but exposure history — variations are inherent and irreversible.

A polychrome, light-reactive dye process refined through prolonged experimentation — not mechanically reproducible.

SolarFast Dye

A truly exceptional dye medium — functioning more like a paint than a print process. It leaves no perceptible hand on the textile; it cannot crack or fracture. One color alone can yield infinite visual outcomes — from shallow to deep, from sharply resolved to diffusely rendered. Control is possible — but never absolute.

  • It all starts with the artwork

  • Layering for perfection

Engraving with light

It all comes together during exposure, when the image burns into the fabric, leaving its mark for eternity

This delicate process needs a lot of experimentation and care for each piece, but it’s worth it for its shattering detail, artistic depth, and its tribute to the past that came before us. Made for collectors who appreciate detail, and who have a deep reverence for the archaic, and the greatness of the past that we simply can’t leave behind us.
